About Us

Welcome to Tooberville! If your town is anything like ours, you love sports… any sports… ALL SPORTS! One of our favorite pastimes is watching the kids play, whether it’s baseball, tennis or golf in the spring, swimming in the summer, football or lacrosse in the fall, or basketball or hockey in the winter. The parents of Tooberville love to watch their kids play. I’m sure it’s no different where you live…

As a coach I have the pleasure of working with children of all ages and skill levels, teaching them the basics of sports. While the sports and the skills can vary, the basic principals that I try to teach my kids are always the same. I want the kids coming out of my program to be good sports, good fans and good friends. If I can accomplish that, I feel that I have been successful as a coach and role model

Let’s face it – children are starting to play organized sports at a young age, sometimes as early as four! Even at that age sometimes it’s easy to spot future all-stars. Some kids have “it” right off the bat. Some kids don’t get “it” for a while, but when they do, whoa… watch out! Some kids, well, they’ll never play for even their high school team, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t have lots of fun and learn lots of great life-lessons through the wonderful world of competitive sport.

Over the years I have been asked countless questions by Tooberville parents looking for guidance so that they can help their children have successful and enjoyable experiences in the sports that they play. I’ve tried to compile all of that information in one easy to use location so that when it comes to youth sports there is only one place you need to go – right here at Spec-Taters.com. Here, not only can you find answers to your youth sport questions, but you can also contribute to the Tooberville community, helping others find answers as well!

So come join me as we work through issues that all parents and children have as they venture into the world of sport. I have some of my players here to help us out with the kid perspective as well, so we’ve covered all the bases! I think you’ll find what you’re looking for here but if you don’t, let us know and we’ll try to find it for you!

One last thing – whether it’s in sports or in life, be a Spec-Tater, but don’t be a spectator – join the team and get in the game!
